The semi-automatic cartoner includes an aluminum frame surrounding the operation of the cartoning machine and a plexiglass type guarding material for added safety. An open feeding area combined with the vertical design allows the operator to simply drop the product into the carton prior to the closing of the top flap and discharge to the waiting conveyor.
