The cap chute for Automatic Spindle Cappers and certain specialty cappers delivers the cap to the containers from a cap elevator or sorting bowl (vibratory or centrifugal), setting it in position to be securely tightened.
The cap chute consists of adjustable rails which present the cap to the container. Fingers hold the cap in place until the container strips the cap from the fingers prior to tightening. A stabilizer bar keeps the cap in place as the container begins to move through the capper.
