Spindle Cappers and specialty cappers, such as a snap capper, come standard with cap elevator that move the caps to a chute that, in turn, present the cap to the container for tightening. Alternatively, a vibratory bowl can be used to present caps to the capping machine as well.
For high-speed capping, Liquid Packaging Solutions can manufacture cappers with a centrifugal bowl to replace the cap elevator or vibratory bowl. A centrifugal bowl includes a spinning disk to move caps to an outer track of the bowl. Once on the outer track, caps in the correct orientation will be presented to the cap chute and then to the capper for cap tightening. Caps that are not correctly oriented for presentation to the capper will be returned to the bowl to repeat the process until in the correct orientation for capping.
Centrifugal bowls offer more speed than cap elevators and vibratory bowls, and are also quieter than the vibratory bowl. Centrifugal bowls are ideal for high speed capping operations.
