Last Chance to Make Plans for PACK EXPO 2016!
Final preparations are taking place this article is being written and the show equipment is on the road! PACK EXPO 2016 starts this Sunday, November 6th and continues through Wednesday November 9th at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. For packaging professionals, this annual show offers the opportunity to not only see all of the latest equipment and components, but also to meet the people that design, manufacture and service the equipment. No other gathering offers the chance to learn the equipment and develop connections in the packaging industry like PACK EXPO.
As always, Liquid Packaging Solutions will be taking a place on the exhibit floor to show off a small sample of the equipment produced at the La Porte, Indiana shop, just about sixty miles east of McCormick Place and this year's show. LPS will set up in Booth 1749 in the South Hall with one of the most popular filling machines produced by the company, an automatic overflow filler, along with a power conveyor and turntable. The overflow filling machine uses unique filling nozzles to produce a fill that will reach the same level in each and every bottle that receives product, even if the interior volume of those bottles have slight variances. Power conveyor systems can be custom manufactured for any production floor and just about any container that needs to be moved from one packaging machine to the next. The loading turntable on display represents one option for getting empty bottles or other containers on to the packaging system to begin the process.
These machines, however, provide a very small sampling of the equipment that is routinely manufactured by the Packaging Specialists at LPS. In addition to other filling machines such as gravity fillers, pump fillers and piston filling machines, the company produces a range of container cleaning equipment, including inverting rinsing machines and bottle vacuums. Sealing and capping equipment ranges from simple handheld chuck cappers to fully automatic spindle capping machines, snap cappers, corking equipment, neck banders and more. Custom equipment includes nitrogen purge machinery, unique rinsing, filling and capping equipment, monoblock machines and whatever other machine designs are necessary to find the ideal solution for a packaging project.
In addition to manufacturing equipment, LPS offers many different packaging services in order to provide a one-stop shop to packagers. From assisting with design to integration, installation, training, service and spare parts, LPS is proud not to just deliver equipment, but to create a lasting and useful relationship for all packagers. For those attending the show, we hope you will stop by Booth 1749 and introduce yourself to the LPS representatives on hand. One of the great things about the annual PACK EXPO show is not only reconnecting with old friends, but getting to meet those just entering the packaging industry!
