Cleaners and Chemicals
Liquid Packaging Solutions tackles the unique challenges offered by packaging industrial cleaners and chemicals. The key to packaging industrial cleaners and chemicals is often corrosion resistance. Though not all industrial cleaners require corrosion resistant packaging machinery, many of these products contain acids and solvents and the packaging system will benefit from corrosion resistant construction.
A typical packaging line for non-corrosive industrial cleaners and chemicals is shown below:
This system includes:
- An overflow filling machine for a cosmetic fill on thin products and products that foam;
- A stainless steel spindle capping machine for continuous container capping;
- Turntables for container loading and product accumulation;
- A belt conveyor system to move the product through the packaging process.
Again, many industrial cleaners and chemicals will require corrosion resistant packaging machinery. For these applications, Liquid Packaging Solutions manufactures filling machines, conveyors and turntables with HDPE construction to allow the packaging machinery to endure harsh chemicals without excessive wear and tear to the machinery. The HDPE construction allows for longer packaging machine life in these unique production areas. The typical system will not be ideal for every application and the correct machinery will be determined by a number of factors including the product itself.
A variety of filling equipment is available for cleaners and chemicals and Liquid Packaging Solutions will manufacture the ideal filler for each individual application. LPS recently completed its first corrosion resistant overflow filler for a unique application. Alternative capping machines and conveyor and turntable systems are also available. Tabletop and manual systems are can be manufactured for start up companies or facilities with lower production runs.
Additional equipment - including rinsing machines, labelers, induction sealers, case tapers and more - are available to add to packaging lines for cleaners and chemicals to meet the individual and specific needs of each packaging system.
