Prepare Early for 2021 Packaging Projects
Believe it or not, we are into the final half of the final quarter of 2020! For Liquid Packaging Solutions and many of our packagers, this has been an unprecedented year, to say the least. We have seen our industry focus trend toward cleaners, chemicals and COVID-related products and some of our packagers have completely changed the products they package to help with the virus!
As 2021 approaches, LPS expects more of the same in the short term. And while the focus may change with the introduction of a vaccine or other advances in fighting the pandemic, LPS remains ready and able to take on projects in any number of industries, including food and beverage, pharma, nutra, household products, cosmetics and the above mentioned cleaners, chemicals and similar products.
As we approach 2021, we encourage anyone anticipating adding packaging machinery next year to contact LPS early in the process. As essential products have become more and more in demand, so has packaging machinery for those products, along with equipment for other products as well. At LPS, we have seen an influx of requests for equipment immediately or "off the shelf". Unfortunately, very few, if any, of the products offered by LPS or other machinery manufacturers are "off the shelf". At LPS, we pride ourselves on manufacturing packaging equipment specific to each packaging project, including the product, bottles, caps and other components of packaging. For this reason, almost every packaging line or machine produced by LPS is a custom machine, in that it is tailored to the packager, product and project at hand.
We understand the frustration for packagers that are seeing a sudden increase in demand due to the current situation in the United States and around the world. However, we also understand that delivering packaging equipment that will not efficiently get the job done will simply not quell that frustration.
Contacting LPS early and beginning the process of identifying the best solution for any project at an early stage allows both LPS and the packager ample time to not only build the equipment, but to test the equipment using the packagers product, bottles, caps and labels. The process also includes a factory acceptance test that gives the packager an opportunity to see the equipment in action and request additions or modification before delivery. Of course, for full lines or automatic equipment, LPS also offers installation and training to ensure efficient performance.
At LPS, we feel it is never too early to begin the search for solutions! Even if you are just looking for information on packaging equipment or are in the early stages of preparing a packaging project, LPS can and will help! With decades of packaging experience, LPS representatives are eager to share our knowledge to assist packagers with their own projects. If you are planning for 2021, do not hesitate to reach out to our Packaging Specialists Toll Free at 1-888-393-3693 or by requesting information through the LPS website!
We look forward to working with our current family of packagers and many new faces in 2021!
